How should I plumb my plastic tank?
Rigid piping must not be connected directly to a tank. Flexible connections such as expansion joints are required on every sidewall fittings to allow for expansion and contraction of the tank as it is filled and as liquid is withdrawn and also for fluctuation in temperature for uncontrolled environments. We also recommend proper spring supports under heavy valves and fittings that may be attached to the tank fitting these will also reduce stress to the fitting and the tank during expansion and contraction. These plumbing recommendations will reduce stress on the tank so it can last to its full life potential.
How should I anchor my plastic tank?
Tank anchor bolts shall only be hand tight to allow for expansion and contraction of the tank.
